Over the centuries, the river Cetina on its way to the sea, cut a magnificent canyon. With its thunderous roar brought the power that for centuries the wheels of mills and then there peace in contact with the sea. In this combination of rapids and quiet flow but in the 17th and 18th centuries are mentioned mills, which flourished in the mid-19th century when redesigning family Radman at which today bear the name.
Today, Radman's Mills as a restaurant - picnic area in the tall trees, peaceful atmosphere of mill wheels and a sundial, lazy trout in the pool feels rustic spirit of past times.
Restaurant and picnic area Radman's mills are located 6 km from Omis, in the heart of the canyon of the river Cetina.
Since 1963, the Cetina canyon has a status of protected landscape in the field of small Dalmatian place to the mouth. About the river canyon wrote another 1774 Italian biologist travel writer Alberto Fortis in his Journey through Dalmatia. In recent years Omiš became an important center of adventure tourism and extreme sports thanks to the natural conditions of the Cetina canyon offers. It is an ideal place for an active vacation and spending time outdoors.

DESCRIPTION OF THE EXCURSION:
Departure by bus from the hotel Meridien arround 10:00 h, arriving in Omiš, boarding the boat and cruising on the river Cetina to Radman mills (about 45 minutes). Upon arrival in Radman mills will welcome their guests homemade appetizer, fritters and soparnik. Soparnik is a dish traditionally linked to Poljicka Republic (right bank of the river Cetina at the mouth). Eventually transmitted to the hinterland area of Omis on the left bank of the river Cetina.
Its preparation is a real culinary feast, and is usually prepared before the holidays (Christmas, Easter, Assumption). Although basically simple in ingredients, now in some places add nuts, suvice and the like.
After a tour of Mills, continued driving boats (approx 15 min) to a Kaštil Slanica restaurant for lunch. After lunch, boarding a bus back to the hotel (around 14:30 h).
